Candidate Statement

The 15th District needs a proven leader with experience. As District Manager of Community Board 6 for the last four years, I launched the city’s first year-round paid CB internship, created a safe space for youth to exercise with free open gym nights, offered free financial literacy and job preparation workshops and secured over $200,000 in grants for local small businesses.

My vision is to make the 15th District a place where people want to stay and raise their families. I will do this by directing city funds to create a job training center at the Old Fordham Library. I also plan on having more housing built for people of all incomes and increasing city voucher payments for families who need extra assistance covering their rent.

I have the experience and courage to lead the Bronx to a better future and humbly ask for your support on March 23rd.
