Candidate Statement

As a Council Member, I will unite government and community to improve the lives of residents in the NW Bronx. Local businesses are strained. Too many neighbors struggle with rent or access to quality education, disability accommodations and healthy food.

I’m a 3rd-generation Bronxite raised by parents committed to public service. My background in law, economics and government distinguish my candidacy. I am uniquely qualified to devise new models of affordable housing and assist small businesses.

Running a city agency and leading over 1000 community meetings has clarified district needs. I will maintain an open dialogue with residents to ensure that my legislation reflects community ideals.
