1. What is the most important issue in Council District 11 you would address if elected?

We need new leadership that can articulate a vision for our community, challenge us to reach higher, and work together to get things done. I am dedicated to securing essential services for our neighborhoods and encouraging a spirit of civic innovation.

2. What other important issues would you address if elected?

I will create and maintain exceptional educational opportunities for our families, restore senior center funding, and focus on job creation. I will foster a dynamic environment for business, make the NW Bronx a leader in renewable energy initiatives, safeguard our neighborhoods, fund domestic abuse shelters, introduce reforms to avert corruption, and implement participatory budgeting.

3. What makes you the best candidate for this office?

A strong record of achievement for our community. I am the only candidate who has recruited a new middle school, created a neighborhood watch and a free transportation corps for seniors, developed plans to activate our commercial corridors, secured a Neighborhood Slow Zone, and submitted two legislative proposals: 1) to create safety zones around all schools and senior centers; 2) to mandate school security cameras.
