1. What is the most important issue in Council District 45 you would address if elected?

I will enlarge the school buildings and remove our children from the trailers; while developing public/private partnerships to place computers in every class room. I will boost funding to fight foreclosures and increase funds for legal assistance to prevent eviction of seniors.

2. What other important issues would you address if elected?

I will fight to increase funding for Day Care, Pre-K and after school programs.

3. What makes you the best candidate for this office?

I am a hard worker in the field of voluntary public service, for 26 years. I began by helping my neighbors in Vanderveer Estates with Landlord tenant issues. I later became a successful community organizer and spokesperson for immigrants' rights. As Manager of the 45th District I learned the nuts and bolts of city hall politics. In these critical times I am the best qualified and ready to serve.
