1. What is the most important issue in Council District 21 you would address if elected?

I will bring economic development and a better quality of life to the residents of this diverse community by leveraging the District's valuable resources such as LaGuardia Airport, Citifield, the USTA, & the new Willets Point Development Project, by creating jobs & opportunities. Create more accessible transportation for our Senior Citizens & identify additional resources for funding programs in relations to Congregate Meals, Recreation, & promote health screening prevention programs. I will do my best to protect the quality of life and dignity of our Seniors by securing funds to maintain the Senior Centers. The overcrowdedness of our local schools & improving the existing schools is one of my top priorities. Increase participation within the community through affiliations with our local Not-For-Profit Organizations in providing GED, ESL, Computer Classes & After School Activities for all children not just a few. Implement solutions to flooding problems within the Astoria Blvd and its surrounding neighborhoods.

2. What other important issues would you address if elected?

Create Jobs and more jobs. Embrace tourism.

3. What makes you the best candidate for this office?

As an immigrant & local successful entrepreneur, community activist, homeowner and family man with children who attend the local schools, I am aware of the needs of the community because I am part of the community. I believe in accountability, responsibility and achievement and my work mirrors this belief.
