Candidate Statement
We deserve a representative who offers a bold legislative agenda to address climate action, support affordable housing, expand social programs, fight for universal healthcare and upgrade public infrastructure. As a progressive activist and a lifelong member of the working class, I'm running to put the interests of working families and small businesses above big corporations because we the people should never come second to corporate profits. Most New Yorkers still haven't recovered from the Great Recession. As we face the COVID-19 pandemic, it’s more important than ever that we mobilize support for public institutions and the common good.
