1. What is the most important issue in Council District 50 you would address if elected?

I would address education to teach our children critical thinking and reasoning, life skills, and I would not not focus on teaching our children test taking. I would focus on instilling a love of learning as opposed to a fear of examination.

2. What other important issues would you address if elected?

Small business, that they should not be burdened by over regulation and unfair fines. I would focus on a positive business environment for our local business owners and entrepreneurs. I would focus on funding health care making certain that hospitals receive enough funding. I would focus on traffic and transportation, to improve public transportation. I would look at intelligent development and well paying union jobs, with proper salary and benefits.

3. What makes you the best candidate for this office?

I have been involved in the community as a leader, as a member of Community Board 2, serving on it's Land Use Committee, I have seen first hand all the issues that affect the district, and I am prepared to take it to the next level and actually formulate legislation based upon my experience.
