1. What is the most important issue in Council District 47 you would address if elected?

Safe streets and clean neighborhoods. We deserve to be proud of our community and should feel safe while walking through our neighborhoods. I will continue my work to keep drugs out of our parks and crime off our streets. I am committed to working with NYPD on programs to reduce crime and increase the security of our homes while not infringing on our civil liberties.

2. What other important issues would you address if elected?

Educate our children and provide for our seniors. Our children are falling behind while schools are underfunded and overcrowded. Valuable senior assistance programs are suffering from unnecessary and unfair budget cuts. I will give a voice to those who need it most.

End waste and deliver resources. City Hall has not provided funding to improving our public transportation, repairing our roads or making enhancements to our neighborhoods. I will listen to the concerns of the community and deliver the capital for projects that will improve our quality of life.

3. What makes you the best candidate for this office?

We need a representative of the people that lives in the neighborhood, understands our concerns, and works tirelessly to improve the community we live in. My promise is that as Your City Councilman these are my priorities, and this is what I will achieve. With your support I will be your voice in City Hall and the representative who works for you.
