1. What is the most important issue in Council District 20 you would address if elected?

Neighborhood Safety:

To create safe neighborhoods, we must coordinate with law enforcement to protect our community, expand economic opportunities, and support youth programs that prepare our next generation of leaders.

 

2. What other important issues would you address if elected?

Quality of Life:
To ensure our quality of life, we must plan ahead and fight for affordable housing, good schools, and our fair share of City services.

 

3. What makes you the best candidate for this office?

Experience, Leadership & Vision:
From the 1657 Flushing Remonstrance to today, our community has welcomed new people with open arms and led the way forward in the movement for civil rights and equality. Our growth and prosperity is based on this powerful legacy and we must embrace it if we are to maintain our strength and vitality. This will require exceptional leadership and vision, experience and dedication to the community. That is why I am running to represent you in the City Council.
