1. What is the most important issue in Council District 20 you would address if elected?

During my first term in office I have worked tirelessly to help promote real positive change and have fought to bring necessary services and funding to our community. I am proud to announce that my office has resolved over 6800 community-based complaints and has secured over $15 million in City funding for our district thus far. In my first term, I have worked with my fellow elected officials and community leaders to remove illegal commuter buses from our streets, secure funding for much needed security cameras in downtown Flushing, provide free flu shots to those in need, sponsor numerous educational workshops and community events and implement new traffic signals and controls to make our streets safer for motorists and pedestrians alike.

2. What other important issues would you address if elected?

More needs to be done to improve traffic conditions, assist small business, help seniors get the services they deserve, enhance the education experience for students, improve public safety and continue improving the overall quality of life for all residents.

3. What makes you the best candidate for this office?

I will continue to strive to improve our quality of life here in the district, to fight for needed capital projects and to protect vital services. I am proud to have the opportunity to serve you and your interests in the New York City Council and look forward to working with my colleagues to achieve wonderful things for the people of New York City.
