1. What is the most important issue in Council District 04 you would address if elected?

The most important issue in City Council District 04 is preserving our quality of life, which is jeopardized by mismanaged and irresponsible City government. From Stuyvesant Town to Midtown to the Upper East Side, District 04 residents are similarly concerned.

Issues such as the Marine Transfer Station, Midtown Rezoning, traffic, education, property values, and housing are essentially quality of life issues.

Rather than ask how much something is going to cost the City, I'll ask how much something costs the people.

2. What other important issues would you address if elected?

Other important issues are the related problems of runaway goverment. As City Councilwoman, I will act to ensure that City government honors its obligations by functioning responsibly within the confines of the City Charter and the State Constitution.

3. What makes you the best candidate for this office?

I am the best candidate because I am principled and independent of special interests. As a legislator and public officer, I promise to serve the people of my District and the rule of law.
