Candidate Statement
The climate crisis our world is facing is unprecedented in human history and will make our planet uninhabitable for our children and grandchildren in a very short period of time if substantial change does not occur. Having been intricately involved in the electric industry for over 30 years, I know what it takes to get us to a climate neutral energy grid. The infrastructure in our district has been neglected for decades and has resulted in schools, roads and bridges literally crumbling around us. Over the course of my career, I have advised over 700 governments on financing, building and maintaining their infrastructure. I have seen what works and what doesn't. In our district, the time is now to be proactive in addressing these problems.
