Candidate Statement
Informed by my lived experiences and having worked for Congressmember Jose E. Serrano, I became a community organizer who worked alongside the grassroots to turn their activism into electoral power. I dedicated my professional life to the affordable housing field, where I helped build homes in the Bronx and NYC. Like Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, we have both rejected real estate developer and corporate PAC money to finance our campaigns to end the corruptive force of big money in Bronx politics which is why I am so grateful to have her endorsement in this race.
