Candidate Statement

We are facing perhaps the worst health and economic crisis this state and country has ever seen. For weeks, I led the efforts to expose the truth behind the nursing home deaths, introduced legislative solutions to make our economy work again for everyone, and led the fight in delivering mobile testing centers in underserved neighborhoods.

I also led weekly virtual townhalls to build solidarity around Asian Americans who have been victims of increasing hate crimes during this pandemic.

I am ready to continue fighting for my district and for all New Yorkers during and after this pandemic.
