Candidate Statement

From my 19 years of living in the district as a community advocate and a first generation American, I have come to believe in the beautiful potential of our state. But I am also tired of being disappointed by what this state actually delivers for our struggling New Yorkers. Having experiences as a low income working mother, commuter, healthcare worker, and someone who wants to see economic inequality end, I felt it was my responsibility to fight for our people, and save our state from the profit-driven grip of real estate developers, corporate billionaires, and the fossil fuel industry. I am running for this office to create a truly inclusive New York that will provide housing, education, childcare, and healthcare for all New Yorkers.
