Candidate Statement
I am running to move the 31st Assembly District in the direction of progress and good government. I want to hold the MTA accountable by transforming our subway system into one that is 100 percent accessible to all New Yorkers beginning in the Rockaways where there is a need for more elevators across the peninsula. We must address the ever growing threat of climate change head on which is why I will fight to ban all fossil fuel infrastructure in New York and advocate for 100 percent renewable energy to reduce emissions across the state. Public housing is our most affordable housing stock in a perpetual state of crisis. I believe we can change that, I will fight for the state to commit 3 billion dollars annually to public housing.
