Candidate Statement
As a lifelong East Flatbush and Flatlands resident, I seek to serve you in the City Council. I served as an 1199 Member and Organizer, learning the importance of advocating for families and children. For six years, I served as a Deputy Chief of Staff in the City Council, assisting with key legislative pieces while facilitating the districts portion and allocation of NYC’s nearly $88.9B budget. In addition, I was a resource and voice for constituents navigating bureaucratic systems and created opportunities for City Government to be inclusive. Join me in a fight for affordable housing, funding for education, quality healthcare, and economic development. Vote for me your next City Councilwoman as we build a Unified 45.
