My name is Anthony Beckford. I am a Community Leader, Activist, Mentor, Single Father, Veteran and your next City Councilmember for the 45th District which is Flatbush, East Flatbush, Midwood, Marine Park, Flatlands and Canarsie. I have been on the frontlines, fighting for True Affordable and Safe Housing for our Community, as well as Job and Economical Development, Adequate Funding and Resources for our Schools, Affordable Childcare Programs and a Cleaner Environment for our Children. As well as, adequate protections for our Seniors and Homeowners. I am not a candidate who gives lip service. I am a candidate that commits to action and actual solutions. This November, make sure you Vote for me, Anthony Beckford, to help stop Displacements, Disparities and Injustice and to bring about Unity and Prosperity for Us All, because Together We Can Make A Difference.

Candidate Statement

I have always been Boots on the Ground in the Community, standing up for Community Members from all Backgrounds. I have stood on the frontlines with many Organizations to fight for Tenants Rights, Adequate Funding and Resources for Education, Progressive Legislation, Job and Economical Development in our Community, Unity, Immigration Rights and much more. My Journey as an Advocate started at the age of 12. I am a Graduate of Midwood High School, Community Leader, Activist, Single Father, Mentor and U.S. Marine Corps Veteran. I truly believe that, TOGETHER WE CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE!
