1. What is the most important issue in City Council District #12 you would address if elected?

The most important issue I will address if elected is Youth and Education Services. District 12 needs to build a Youth Community Center to protect, educate, and save our youth.

2. What other important issues would you address if elected?

Senior services; creation of employment opportunities; public safety; access to affordable healthcare; maintain affordable housing; small business concerns and land use

3. What makes you the best candidate for this office?

30 years of professional /volunteer work, I have established quality working relationships with the clergy, senior centers, tenants associations, NYPD, schools, youth programs, community and civic organizations. As an 1199 SEIU Organizer I've participated in the progressive charge against the inequalities in healthcare, social and economic issues. As the Volunteer Director of YEP, I've formulated solutions to youth issues. My relationships with city officials will and can allow me to hit the ground running. Finally, as a lifetime resident in the 12th district, I will advocate for the district and I commit to putting community first.
