1. What is the most important issue in Council District 19 you would address if elected?

The hidden taxation of our working class: toll increases at bridges & tunnels, commuter taxes, MTA fare hikes, city income & sales tax, property tax increases, Water & Sewer surcharges; the "tax and recklessly spend" policies that make home ownership less affordable.

2. What other important issues would you address if elected?

Overdevelopment in the district has created safety & quality of life issues. Proper funding for Police, Firefighters, EMT's, & Hospitals, are vital. Education reform must continue, ensuring quality education, charter & voucher schools. Senior Programs that meet their needs.

3. What makes you the best candidate for this office?

I am building on my family's tradition of service. which spans over 100 years; Police Chiefs, City Alderman, and four generations of police, firemen, prosecutors and judges. Long a part of Broadway-Flushing, many remember my family's real estate practice and its slogan "So this is Flushing... ask Mr. Halloran!"

In the NYPD I helped make our streets safer & worked for justice in the District Attorney's Office. Now I fight for individuals and small business owners.

I will work tirelessly to revitalize our economy, cut waste & fraud making every tax dollar count. With this history behind me, growing up in St. Andrew Avellino parish, I have spent my lifetime as a part of our community I will be an independent & accountable voice for us, because I care.
