Candidate Statement

I was born and raised on the North Shore, and along with my wife, are raising our beautiful daughter here. My parents, who migrated from Guinea, showed me that with hard work and perseverance, you can accomplish your dreams. Unfortunately, that is not a reality for far too many across Staten Island. Unreliable public transportation, overcrowded classrooms and underfunded education, being priced out of a home, and unable to afford quality health care while trying to feed your family.

I’m running for State Assembly because these are the issues that I have seen gone unaddressed since I was a child. We need leaders in Albany who will fight for our community and for our future. I’m ready for that fight.
