Candidate Statement
The balance of power in New York is too often is tipped in favor of the wealthy and powerful and I am fighting to change that - putting power in the hands of people like you. That's why I was proud to champion the strongest tenant protections ever enacted in New York State, support for our immigrant neighbors, and billions in new funding to fix our broken subways. I'm running for re-election to the New York State Senate because there is more work to be done - rebuilding our economy in the wake of coronavirus, funding desperately needed repairs to NYCHA, repairing our broken criminal laws, and so much more. I am proud to be part of the progressive movement that is winning these battles together.
