Candidate Statement

Kenny’s career in public service began as a Summer Associate for the New York City Council. He worked alongside financial analysts in various sectors, ranging from law and childcare to health and more. This opportunity catapulted him to his next role as Deputy Chief of Staff at the NYC Council, a role in which he is presently responsible for appropriating over $7 million in discretionary funds for the 18th Council District.

 

He has worked on injecting over $10 million dollars in the past several years to local schools for upgrades ranging from library upgrades, playground renovations, and state-of-the-art tech labs.

 

Kenny is committed to serving as a voice for the most vulnerable populations because The Bronx is home.
