Candidate Statement

I am running for State Assembly because I deeply believe we all have a role to play in taking care of our community, whether that's educating the next generation, making sure our trains run on time, or organizing our neighbors. I am excited to bring my skillset to the role of representing and advocating for my neighbors as an Assemblymember. I have both a deep understanding of the web of failed policies that leave our communities behind and an unwavering commitment to legislating community-owned solutions that lead to our collective liberation. From education inequities to gun violence and police brutality, I have a track record of working alongside frontline communities to secure the protections New Yorkers justly deserve.
