Hi. I'm Joann Ariola. I'm a Queens resident, wife, mother, and grandmother who works in the healthcare profession. I'm not a career politician. Like you, I'm deeply concern about the future of our city and our borough. I'll stand up to the radical career policians and their pro-crime agenda. Our families deserve a safe, clean city. As your next Queens Borough President, I will support the NYPD and keep dangerous criminals behind bars on Rikers Island, where they belong. If we don't have public safety, we don't have anything. I'll fight to stop jails, halfway houses and homeless shelters from being forced on our neighborhoods. I'll address property tax reform, so that we can all afford to stay here in Queens and raise our families. I'll fight for better transportation and roads as well as oppose toll increases, because it's already too hard for us to get to work and all the places we go. I will advocate for our small businesses and help them recover from the disastrous regulations and policies that threaten the livelihoods of so many hardworking New Yorkers. I'll fight for quality schools and choice in education to help all our children succeed. Queens is the most wonderful place in the world and it's worth fighting for-for us, our children and our grandchildren. Vote for me and I'll be a Borough President for everyone.
