Candidate Statement

South Queens have been overlooked for too long. We need a fighter in Albany to make sure that we get our fair share of funding and resources, especially after the Coronavirus has devastated our neighborhoods. I will make it happen. I’ll fight to create jobs, improve healthcare, protect the safety of our residents, make housing more affordable, improve educational opportunities for our children, and ensure that everyone is treated with dignity and respect. I am ready to lead. I have been a lawyer who fights for the vulnerable, a professor at CUNY who sculpts young minds, and an official in the administration of Governor Andrew Cuomo where I helped New York families statewide. It would be an honor to serve. I hope to earn your support.
