Explanation of Terms:
Classification indicates if a candidate is a
Campaign Finance Program participant, a non-participant, or has not yet decided whether to join the Program.
Last Statement Submitted shows the statement number and due
date for the most recent financial disclosure statement filed by the candidate with the CFB.
The most recent disclosure statement for the current election cycle was due
07/16/2007.
Receipts encompass both private
fundraising and public funds, if any, received by the candidate. Click on the
"Receipts" link to view a more detailed report of candidates’ receipts.
Private Funds Received includes net
contributions (monetary contributions, in-kind contributions, transfers from a party
or constituted committee not controlled by the candidate, and unreimbursed advances,
less contribution refunds), loans received, and miscellaneous receipts (
investment income, proceeds from sales or leases, or transfers from a committee
used by the same candidate for a different election).
Public Funds Received is the total
amount of public funds disbursed to the candidate for the primary, runoff,
and/or general elections.
Disbursements are the funds spent
by the candidate and all public funds returned by the candidate for an election.
Click on the "Disbursements" link to view a more detailed report of candidates’ disbursements.
Campaign Spending includes net
expenditures (expenditure payments, in-kind contributions, and
transfers to a party or constituted committee, less expenditure refunds), loans received,
and outstanding bills reported on the last disclosure statement filed.
Public Funds Returned is the total amount
of public funds returned by the candidate to the CFB to date for the selected election cycle.

which the data are displayed. More detailed information about contributions or

Inauguration Entities (TIEs), which can be viewed using the Select election
cycle drop-down menu.
