Charles D. Fall
Chief of Staff to the New York City Parts Department on Staten Island
Most recently, I served as Staten Island Borough Director and Citywide Islamic Liaison to the Mayor of New York City. In that capacity, I ensured visions such as Universal Pre-Kindergarten and Paid Sick Leave became realities, and Eid al-Adha and Eid al-Fitr becoming observed school holidays.

Prior Public Experience
Prior to my service in the Mayor's Office, I served as Staten Island Representative to the New York City Board of Elections. Previously, I worked on numerous local campaigns, and worked my way up through the local county and state Democratic party,. I've been civically engaged throughout our borough, especially during recovery efforts following Hurricane Sandy, while also founding a non-profit for at risk youth.
I was born and raised on the North Shore, and along with my wife, are raising our beautiful daughter here. My parents, who migrated from Guinea, showed me that with hard work and perseverance, you can accomplish your dreams. Unfortunately, that is not a reality for far too many across Staten Island. Unreliable public transportation, overcrowded classrooms and underfunded education, being priced out of a home, and unable to afford quality health care while trying to feed your family.
I’m running for State Assembly because these are the issues that I have seen gone unaddressed since I was a child. We need leaders in Albany who will fight for our community and for our future. I’m ready for that fight.
