Candidate Statement
We have an affordability crisis in NYC. To address such, I have introduced legislation to:
- Reform the Affordable Housing Calculation to make sure the prices charged for new projects reflect the average incomes of people who already live in the area
- Lower property taxes for Seniors as they age
- Abolish the ability of landlords to charge increases in rent for repairs they should be making to begin with.
