Website Developers

Contracts between a campaign and a website developer must be signed and dated and include the details listed below.

Contracts – Details to be Included
  • Vendor name and address
  • Committee name, not just the name of the candidate
  • Detailed description of services to be rendered
  • Date on which website is expected to go live
  • Amount and frequency of payment (e.g., monthly, weekly, single payment)
  • Duration of the contract
  • Dated signatures of vendor and candidate/treasurer

All campaign websites must contain a “Paid for by” statement. The statement must be in a font of conspicuous size and style contained in a box within the borders of the communication.
