Prior Public Experience: Manager for the 45th Councilmanic District: Member of the 67 Precinct Community Council: Represented the 45th District at Community Board 17.

1. What is the most important issue in Council District 45 you would address if elected?

I will fight for the expansion of economic development and create public private partnership to construct a Community Center. I Will provide resources for 21st century education. I will expand the availability of affordable housing and fight for fairer immigration Policies.

 

2. What other important issues would you address if elected?

I will fund organizations, especially those which are helping families in foreclosure. Being a strong supporter of Union Rights, I will stand up for workers.

 

3. What makes you the best candidate for this office?

I successfully managed the 45th District for four years and was instrumental in finalizing the plans for a New school and the Flatbush Junction Shopping Mall. Because of my proven record of advocacy and leadership, I was chosen to create and chair several boards of directors throughout Brooklyn; including the Flatbush YMCA; Kings Counter Center's Nursing Home and Camba's Beacon after school program. I promise "Service not Politics as Usual." I will not use my position for personal gain, therefore, I will put the needs of the 45th district first at city hall. With your help the 45th District will be revitalized again.
