1. What is the most important issue in Council District 48 you would address if elected?

I will continue fighting as hard as ever against cuts in vital services necessary to protect our community's safety and preserve our quality of life, including Police, Fire and Sanitation services, Education, Libraries and services for our youth and seniors.

I will continue to stand firm against property tax increases and increases in taxes on those least able to afford it. Times are tough for everyone, and I'll continue fighting in City Hall for our community's priorities.

2. What other important issues would you address if elected?

Preserving transportation options for those using public transportation, including fighting to maintain fares and improve service, as well as for those who need their cars to get around, by fighting hard against tolls on our bridges and the congestion pricing tax.

Some of the programs I've brought to our neighborhood include our high-tech graffiti removal truck and free legal assistance for those who need help.

3. What makes you the best candidate for this office?

With decades of hands-on experience, I've been your full-time Councilman for the last 10 years, and I've been honored to serve our community.

Unlike many elected officials who hold other jobs, I am a committed full-time Councilman. Serving my constituents is my life's work; I am dedicated to this job and that's the promise I've always made and always kept.
