1. What is the most important issue in Council District 26 you would address if elected?

There are so many issues that are important, but the families of the 26th Council District can count on me to be a fierce advocate for better schools, good jobs, expanded access to healthcare and affordable housing.

2. What other important issues would you address if elected?

Providing opportunities for our youth is of critical importance to the future of our communities. We need to invest in young people today so everyone has a shot at succeeding in New York. That means more after-school programs, recreational activities and tutoring services all our families can take advantage of.

3. What makes you the best candidate for this office?

As an attorney for the City Council, a civic activist and a Democratic District Leader who has spent a lifetime in our community, I know I can represent all of us at City Hall. I am proud to have the endorsement of Borough President Helen Marshall, Congressman Joseph Crowley and the Queens County Democratic Party.
