1. What is the most important issue in Council District 30 you would address if elected?

Overdevelopment from both "big box" retail and large commercial intrusions into our residential communities is a major threat to our environmental & social stability. I will continue to fight to preserve the residential character of our neighborhoods. While there have been improvements in education, we must eliminate overcrowding and insure that our local principals, teachers & parents maintain control over the educational development of our children.

I will continue to fight for our fair share of police officers and state of the art police equipment to fight youth crime, vandalism & graffiti.

2. What other important issues would you address if elected?

Clearly, insuring that the citizens that are at risk in our community, our senior citizens and our children, receive the maximum assistance from government services to insure personal safety, quality health care, and opportunities for personal growth & educational advancement.

For our hardworking middle class citizens I will fight to insure a reduction in the unnecessary increase in property tax and local nuisance fees & fines.

3. What makes you the best candidate for this office?

I believe I am the best candidate because of my years of experience in government on the state and city level. I have intimate knowledge of the communities that I represent. I am proactive and accessible and I believe my Voting Record reflects the District which I represent.
