1. What is the most important issue in Council District 14 you would address if elected?

The most important issues in Council District 14 that I would address if elected are avoiding cuts to senior centers, addressing issues in Healthcare. Providing programs for housing, youth, older adults, education and the homeless.

 

2. What other important issues would you address if elected?

Other important issues that I would address are the unemployment, teen pregnancy, infant mortality, environmental racism, healthcare and affordable housing. I would also address issues in regards to economic development.

 

3. What makes you the best candidate for this office?

What makes me the best candidate is my experience in collectively working with organizations and in the community for many years while addressing issues that have affected our communities. In addition my accomplishments in my previous term clearly illustrates my ability to allocate and utilize resources effectively. These are a few of my accomplishments: Allocated millions to Construct new classroom facilities for colleges and high schools in the district, Secured funding for many Community Based Organizations, Secured funding to revitalize community parks, and I have Allocated millions for both youth and senior services.
