The Official NYC Voter Guide

The official NYC Voter Guide is a unique, valuable, nonpartisan resource for voters. The printed Guide, mailed to every household with an eligible registered voter, is a large, colorful, easy-to-read newsletter containing:

• information about voting
• profiles submitted by the candidates, including biographical information and a photo
• a list of all candidates on the ballot for each race at press time (including candidates who did not submit a profile)
• information on anticipated ballot proposals

An interactive version of the Guide is published on this website, and the video Voter Guide is produced and broadcast for citywide elections.

Every candidate running for mayor, comptroller, public advocate, borough president, and City Council member has the opportunity to submit a profile free of charge for the print and online Guides and to tape a profile for the video Guide.
