How to Vote

The Board of Elections introduced a new way to vote in 2010, using paper ballots and scanners. Voters fill out these ballot using the supplied pen, or they can use a ballot marking device (BMD) that assists voters in marking the ballot using onscreen or audio instructions. Each poll site is equipped with a BMD; ask a poll worker for assistance.
