I’m Queens Borough President Candidate Anthony Miranda. As a trained first responder I know that to make it through the COVID19 crisis and recovery, we need decisive and proactive action. We need leadership that understands how to respond to community needs NOW. For over 30 years, I have been advocating and defending the rights of the underserved and disenfranchised. I’m not a career politician. I’m a parent/first responder/advocate who is looking to fight for what Queens deserves.

Now more than ever, we see the shortcomings of the systems meant to protect and support us. These things did not happen overnight. COVID19 simply exposed what we’ve known all along: we as a community have been short changed and ignored. We can no longer afford to be left out of any conversations. This is why I am fighting to be your Queens Borough President.

I'm an independent Democrat who has a record of fighting and winning against the establishment. Without a political title, I’ve been working with local and national organizations to bring resources to the most vulnerable communities.
