Candidate Statement

The 65th Assembly district is a crisis. The district has some of the richest zip codes in New York City next to some of the poorest. We need an effective leader that understands economic and fiscal policy and can successfully lead the district out of this pandemic. Lower Manhattan has one of the highest concentrations of NYCHA housing. Tenant presidents are supporting me because they know I will stand up to make their voices heard at the table. Lower Manhattan was hit hard by Superstorm Sandy, is vulnerable to the increasing effects of climate change, and must now recover from the effects of COVID-19, yet virtually nothing has been done in 8 years. I am running for the assembly seat to get the job done.
